Journal #2

The working conditions are terrible here. I go in at 6:00 in the morning and barely get home before 9:00. I go to work on a very crowded bus which reeks of gas and man. When I arrive at work I immediately get to work because if I don't I might be fired. The work is rough for the little pay I get. I get one, maybe if I'm lucky two, breaks a day where we can eat or go to the bathroom but these are not enough. Many of the men who work here don't have all ten fingers and some don't have other body parts. Unfortunately for them, and myself, there's no medical care on the job to speak of. So many times when there is an accident you'll hear some screaming because of the pain but nothing more because that person has gotten back to work. And all this pain and work to barely feed my family. Sometimes I just want to quit this job and move to America, but I don't have enough money to make it there.
