Journal #6

No matter how bad this recession gets, we will all survive it, that's my belief. We've gotten through things like this before, why can't we do it again? People are all bent out of shape because "the economy has gone completely down the tubes" and "we're in such a terrible recession." One thing that people don't understand is all this skepticism and negative mind-set are in reality what's causing the economic downturn. If people were just smarter with their money, maybe spend a little here or there instead of saving it, we would all do ourselves a big favor and bring this economy back where it should be. The government can only do so much, (which isn't really very much but...) we have to step in and say "we're going to do something about the economy."
